Nigeria’s foremost Grassroots News magazine, The Trumpet International has scheduled June 7 2014 for the first lecture series and awards at Asaba the Delta State capital.
The event according the Chairman of the local organizing committee, Dr. Mrs. Helen Oputa-Chime will take place at Excel Suites Hotel opposite the State Police Headquarters along Okpanam Road, Asaba.
The theme of this first lecture series titled “Democracy and Grassroots Development, the best way forward” is aimed at discussing rural and urban development in Delta that is sustainable and has the bottom up approach.
The awards is for a select few who have distinguished themselves in their various fields of endeavour and have become role models for our youth group in the society.
Managing Director of Glory of All Investment Limited, Publishers of The Trumpet International Newsmagazine, Comrade Precious Enebuse said that “we carefully selected these crops of award recipients, not from the popular big names we hear every day to encourage all hard working individuals to be consistent in what they engaged because some day they will be recognized.
He said that this first lecture series is just the beginning in the various that will follow, and further reiterated his determination to be a catalyst in the quest for the development of Delta in particular and Nigeria in general.
