WARRI/Nigeria: Two persons driving in a Lexus SUV with registration number YAB. 265 BP along the Otokutu Express Road had a fatal accident by Okpaka Junction on Sunday, the 24th of July, 2022.
It was gathered that the said vehicle was moving at high speed on the not-so-good express road as there are pot holes on various portions of the road.
A staff of a filling station close to where the accident occurred, who pleaded anonymity stated that the vehicle had tumbled severally but did not hit anyone or other vehicles on the same road.
She went further to state how the two persons in the vehicle were helped out of the damaged vehicle only to discover that they had no serious injuries but just a little scratch.
“We thought there will blood everywhere considering the magnitude of the accident but the two men walked away without any assistance. It’s a miracle,” she said.
She called on all road users to watch their speed and also mind the roads, saying that there were many failed portions along most of the roads in the area.
She also called on the government to embark on road maintenance projects in Udu Local Government Area.
