KOKO/Nigeria: The Universal Basic Education Commission has commenced its national personnel audit exercise 2018, in Warri North local government area.
The exercise which cuts across both public and private schools, registered and unregistered, in the country, will last for three weeks.
A representative of UBEC Abuja, in charge of the exercise in the LGA, Abigail James Elaigwu, disclosed that the exercise commenced May 2, with schools in the South-South zone of the country, noting that it covered only junior secondary school and nursery and primary schools in the country.
While stating that she had conducted the exercise in schools in Abigborodo, some riverine communities and some in Koko, the UBEC representative said that her goal was to ensure that all schools in the riverine and inlands of the local government area were covered within the time frame given for the exercise.
Giving the cordinates of Ojomba Primary School Koko, as 06.00 06.7 0.05 26 21.7, the UBEC representative added that all reports gathered in the course of the exercise would be taken immediately to Abuja.
Some government officials monitoring the exercise were Mrs Josephine Brown-Akperi of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) Asaba and Comrade Emmanuel Ugeoritse Ogbaro, Secretary, Warri North Local Government Education Authority.
