ASABA/Nigeria: Engr. Philip Chukwumah Ugbomah, who was an aspirant under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, had sent out a congratulatory message to members of his campaign organisation, the “Do the Work” team on their supports, and encouragement throughout the period of the preparation for the primary.
In a press statement, Engr. Ugbomah who contested the primary to represent the people of Ndokwa East State constituency, Delta State House of Assembly told the group, that through their support, and encouragement, they should not be disappointed about the outcome of the poll, but sees the development in a better, and brighter way, for the opportunity it opened.
“I thank you all for your supports for the past six months. You were all wonderful. You gave me the needed supports, and today let us not see it that we lost. But let us see it that we had establish ourselves with the process.” He said.
Engr. Ugbomah stated that in life there are other ways to serve the people, and the dream of changing the landscape of Ndokwa East is still on, as this can be done through other processes, which are available for those who seek to bring positive change to the area.
“Despite loosing at the polls, which we entered the race to bring positive change to our people, to re-engineer our landscape, and our mind that will bring a better development, our dream for that is still on, as there are other areas of endeavour that can attract that, through government and private partnership, and I will continue to pursue that for the good of our people.”
On the recent held Presidential Primary, Engr. Ugbomah had congratulated the presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for emerging victorious at the primary held in Port Harcourt.
He said the emergency of the former vice president had changed the game for the 2019 presidential election, as the election was conducted in a transparent and fair manner by the organising committee, headed by the Governor of Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa. He called on all PDP faithful to key into the Atiku/PDP agenda to bring the needed dreams of numerous Nigerians who are today suffering from hardship.
“I sincerely congratulate our party, the PDP, the Governor of Delta State, and our Former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for a successful primary congress. With that over, our focus should now be to win the 2019 elections, including that of the president, so that Nigerians, who are in pain because of serious hardship, can be liberated.”
