The coordinator of “The initiative for nation building”, Ogbuefi Ndidi Ujomor-Abanum has described former President Ibrahim Babangida as a great lover of Deltans.
Ujomor-Abanum in a birthday message to Babangida stated that the retired General is a man who believes in a bright country and works for humanity.
General Babangida who celebrated his 73 birthdays recently, the coordinator of the initiative for nation building also described as a good son-in-law of Delta State.
“We pray God almighty to guide, protect and prolong your days, women and youths remain happy having you as a father and great in-law,” Mrs Ujomor-Abanum said, adding, “you were on a special duty when you created Delta State from old Bendel State.”
She also, used the occasion to pay accolades to late Mrs Marian Babangida, noting that she was a wonderful heroine who laid a good legacy for African women.
“Mrs Babangida showed women how to live a good life, how to support their marriage by trade and skill and crowned Nigerian women through her golden project, ‘Better Life for Rural Women.”
