ASABA/Nigeria: The Delta State Honourable Commissioner of Information and Interim Chairman of the Delta State Chapter of Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, Ogbueshi Patrick Ukah has called on the Executive and members of Delta Chapter to make effort towards wooing more prospective members to take advantage of another round of membership induction which is scheduled to hold on 6th December, 2018, in Lagos.
He made this call during the monthly meeting of the chapter at the Conference Hall of Ministry of Information, adding that more persons within the public and private sectors be mobilized for induction in order to beef up the number of members.
The Commissioner posited that rather than begin to tinker how to hold an induction for members in Delta State, the Chapter could actually woo and engage prospective members to register for induction as a way of building on the membership strength.
Ogbueshi Ukah also maintained that if all things being equal, the state chapter election would hold before end of year, otherwise it would hold after the general election.
Meanwhile, as the report of the National Executive Council meeting cum induction ceremony in Calabar was delivered; members took turn to appreciate the Interim Chairman, Patrick Ukah for his huge financial commitment and moral support towards mobilizing prospective members for induction.
