OBIARUKU/Nigeria: The candidacy of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Ukwuani Local Government Area for the state Constituency Seat for the 2019 general Election, Hon Christopher Ochor Ochor had received a boost, as the State Commissioner for Water Resources Development, Sir Fidelis Tilije Okenmor had called on party faithfuls in the area to give their maximum support to ensure victory in the forthcoming election.
Sir Tilije made the call on Saturday October 20, 2018 during the thank you party organised by Hon Ochor to thank and appreciate the members of the Reality Campaign Organisation for the success recorded at the primary.
He said that appreciation is an application for more, and as such the party members and the campaign organisation should ensure the victory of Hon Ochor by mobilising the people of Ukwuani.
“Appreciation is application for more and I ask all PDP members, and all Ukwuani sons and daughters to support and vote Hon. Christopher Ochor Ochor come 2019 general election.” He said.
He further warned against disunity in the LGA party structure as it will not be good for the party’s preparation for the next election.
“The party must be seen as one family, there should not be any disunity, we must show love, and admonish one another where necessary, but let love runs in the party.
In his welcoming speech, the host and the PDP candidates for the Ukwuani State House of Assembly Seat, in the next years election, Hon Christopher Ochor Ochor thanked the PDP faithfuls for contributing to his victory.
“I and my family do appreciate Ukwuani PDP for the overwhelming support I have received so far and I must say I am grateful to you all and I pray God bless you all and grant you all your heart desires”
