OBIARUKU/Nigeria: The legislative arm of the Ukwuani local government council have passed vote of confidence on the councils’ boss, Hon Ogbuefi Chukwudi Dafe for his unparalleled and multifaceted developmental
strides across the local government.
Arising from one of their plenary sections, the legislators moved for the motion for the vote of Confidence on the Executive Chairman and was seconded and unanimously adopted by the house. In a memo conveying the resolution of the house for the vote of confidence made available to the press, the councilors appreciated the chairman for the cordial and harmonious working relationship between the Executive Arm, Management of the council and the Legislature.
The house led by Rt. Hon Kenneth Ojugbeli said, “The vote of confidence is predicated on the infrastructural developmental strides of the Executive Chairman especially the building of the Executive Chairman’s office complex, fencing of the council premises, security network in the local government and the ‘Ofu Madu Eliosoka’ empowerment programme”.
They also commended the chairman for the excellent performance so far recorded within the first 365 days of his promising administration.
The legislators also prayed God to grant him wisdom and more capacity to continue to bring more dividends of democracy to the good people of Ukwuani LGA.
