ASABA/Nigeria: Immediate past Special Adviser to the Governor on Government Affairs and now Commissioner-designate, Hon. (Chief) Peter Uviejitobor, has vowed to be a dedicated ambassador of Udu State Constituency. During a congratulatory visit by the College of PDP Ward Chairmen in Udu Local Government Area, Uviejitobor assured he will uphold the trust placed in him by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and the people of Delta State.
Uviejitobor, emphasizing his dedication to peace, unity, and prosperity in Udu, affirmed that Governor Oborevwori’s MORE agenda is on track, promising significant benefits for the Udu Local Government Area. He urged the PDP Ward Chairmen to encourage party members to avoid divisive behaviors and remain committed to the party’s growth, acknowledging the substantial challenges ahead.
The two-term lawmaker of the Delta State Assembly, who has chaired key committees including Water Resources, Lands, Survey, and Urban Development, vowed to leverage his extensive experience from both private and public sectors in his new role. “As a Commissioner and Member of the Delta State Executive Council, I will serve with all my heart in line with the vision of my boss, the Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori,” Uviejitobor declared.
Expressing gratitude for the visit, Uviejitobor solicited the continued support and encouragement of the Ward PDP Chairmen. Led by William Saiki of Ward 7, Ovwian, Udu, the Chairmen expressed their excitement over Uviejitobor’s appointment and congratulated him. They praised Governor Oborevwori for his reliability and pledged ongoing support for his administration.
