AGBOR/Nigeria: Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has charged members to deliver the party come 2023 with their votes.
The Deputy Chairman of the party in Delta North, Elder Moses Iduh, gave the charge when the party campaign council visited 5 Wards in Ika North East, on Friday, November 18, 2022.
Elder Iduh who used the occasion to remind the members to collect their Permanent Voters Card, PVC, said it’s only through their efforts they can win and they have to work towards achieving total Victory.
He said the party had never lost any election in the Wards, but the previous wins have to be protected and solidified.
He tasked them to take the opportunity created by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC on the display of voters register, for claims and objection, and collection of the PVC,s, to ensure they are equipped to deliver the party come February 25, and March 11, 2022 respectively.
“You have to deliver our great party with your votes. I know you had never failed the party, but we have to consolidate and preserve what we use to get.”
“To do this, I appeal to you, your family members, and friends to take the ongoing display of voters register, and collection of PVCs to prepare to deliver the party.”
“I know you had never failed the party. You have to do as usual. We want your votes with further improvement.”
In the various responses, the Ward Chairmen assured the campaign team of their votes.
The Chairman, Ward 5, Owanta, Mr. Solomon Ukpala spoke the minds of the people when he said, they will not only deliver the party but occupy the wards with their supports for the PDP.
The campaign team with the visits of 5 wards in Ika North East, is now on its 5th Local Government in Delta North. With this, the campaign team has visited 33 wards in Delta North Senatorial District.
