I will be A Servant Leader- Oyibode

Hon Gabriel Chukwuma Eta Oyibode, from Ezionum in Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State, a governorship Aspirant in the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), was at the PDP Ukwuani Secretariat on Sunday, 9 2014. The Governorship Aspirant who was received by the executives of the party, led by the party Local Chairman, was accompanied by members of his campaign organisation.

In his welcome speech, the PDP Chairman, Deacon Monday Ossai told him that the visit is over do, but thanked God for making it possible for them to gather to receive him and Ukwuani being his place of Origin; it is good to receive one of their own and pray for him.

Responding, Hon Oyibode, gave a little history of his life stating that part of the handicap of not speaking Ukwuani was because he never grew up in Ukwuani Land but with his mother’s people, who incidentally was from Sapele, and the major contributor to this was the death of his father when he was at the tender age of 5 years. He therefore asked to be pardoned and be received as their son.

Speaking further, he told the gathered party faithful’s to work and support him to emerge as the sole candidate for the party and to win the governorship election come 2015. He also promised to see to the development of the entire state, especially the Ndokwa Nation, as he will not just be a leader, but a servant to the people.
