ABOH/Nigeria: Executive Assistant to Delta Governor on Youths Development, Hon. Nnamdi Ezechi has said Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has paved the way for prosperous future for youths of the state through the execution of people-oriented projects.
According to Hon. Ezechi, with the projects and programmes executed and being executed by the Governor of Delta State, the youths of the state will be prosperous for a long time to come.
The Executive Assistant spoke when he led some youths to pay a courtesy visit of the Chairman of Ndokwa East Local Government Area, Hon. Juan Governor at the Council Secretariat, Aboh.
“I am grateful to God and our amiable Governor for running a youth inclusiveness administration; this goes to say that the governor has the youths at heart and building up those that will take up the future leadership of this state.
“I will make sure that I use this opportunity given to me to bridge the gap between the youths and our leaders, and also to reposition the youths and create a new narrative in organizing orientation and other programs that will strengthen the youths; ‘Ezechi said.
He urged the youths of the state to remain focused and be supportive of government and its programmes.
The Executive Assistant informed the Council Chairman that the visit was important to intimate him of his activities and discuss on areas of partnership.
Hon. Ezechi also, sympathized with the Council on the passage of the Leader of its Legislative Arm, Hon. Chukwuji Uwa, noting that his death was a great loss to the local government and humanity.
Hon. Governor thanked Governor Okowa for recognising the potentials of Hon. Ezechi with the appointment, noting that the appointment was a round peg in a round hole.
The Chairman described Hon Ezechi a rallying point for the youths of Ndokwa Nation and Delta at large, assuring that his administration will partner with him to see how more youths will be positively engaged.
