Work Begins at Umuebu Road By Our Correspondent

The member representing Delta State Oil Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Sir Ken Okolugbo has assured that his representation of Ndokwa people in DESOPADEC will continue to pursue development programme in the various communities, “ I am representing”.
The commissioner unofficially paid a visit for the kick-off of Umuebu/Obiaruku road construction by DESOPADEC, also promised to build a legacies that yet unborn children will meet and benefit from as”.

The DESOPADEC Commissioner who said , “that this visit is not a campaign, stressed that “ I am here to ascertain if actually the contractor awarded the contract has as a matter of fact resumed work at the site, observed that it has and said to God be the glory, work has kicked off.

Sir, Okolugbo who clarified that he is interested in the politic of development, used the opportunity to appeal to the people of Ukwuani Local Government area, to support governor Emmanuel Uduaghan government to enable him gives “us more enablement to impact more on our people, because, he added, all these well done, was the hand work of our amiable governor Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, stressing if not him nothing I say nothing would have been done.

While calling on the people to support Uduaghan government, Okolugbo also urged the youths to cooperate with the contractor to enable him deliver as at when do.

Speaking to some residents of Obiaruku, especially those who use the Umuebu road on a daily bases, they expressed joy to the commencement of work on the road. They thanked the member representing Ndokwa/Ukwuani at the board of DESOPADEC for fulfilling his promise to the people. And also prayed for the government of Uduaghan to continue his development Strides in the State.
