According to him, “we should learn to appreciate God in whatever we do; every day of our lives should be to draw us closer to God and integrity is important in your place of work.”
“Integrity is built over the years, be sincere in your work place because, your sincerity at your place of work may not be beneficial to you alone but, can take your children to good places – people will say, his father is a good man, his father is a good Christian ,” he said.
While calling on workers to guide their integrity in anything they do, Fr. Malachy emphasized, “integrity takes a lot to build but, it takes a second to destroy, let us be careful, let us guide our integrity.
“As a child of God, your actions must reflect your belief in God, know that there is dignity in labour because, God who created us worked, don’t be tired of working, be proud of your work, Jesus was called the son of a Carpenter,” he stated.
The Priest continued, “Know that the richest man in the country cannot do without a cleaner, so, be proud of your job, be proud of your parents and know that there is dignity in labour.”
The Holy Mass featured special thanksgiving and prayers for the workers, among others.
