ABUJA/Nigeria: XEJet has earned top honours at the just-concluded Nigeria International Airshow in Abuja, emerging as the winner of the Best In-flight Service Award. The recognition, presented by the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, SAN, celebrates the airline’s exceptional commitment to premium onboard hospitality and continuous service innovation.
Receiving the award, the Chief Executive Officer of XEJet, Emmanuel Iza, said the honour validates the airline’s sustained efforts to elevate the standard of domestic air travel in Nigeria.
“This award is a true honour for us at XEJet. It reflects our commitment to filling a critical gap in air travel, because in-flight service remains the very crux of the passenger experience,” he said.
Iza explained that the backbone of XEJet’s service excellence is its meticulously curated in-flight experience, tailored for its distinguished First Class passengers. From carefully selected onboard amenities to refined hospitality designed for comfort and privacy, he said the airline has continued to set a benchmark in premium aviation service within the country.
“Our crew is courteous, well-trained, and safety-oriented, and they carry the XEJet values with pride on every flight,” he noted, emphasising the professionalism and genuine warmth that define the airline’s brand.
He added that the award further motivates XEJet to deepen its service philosophy by investing in rigorous training, enhanced cabin standards, and robust feedback systems to ensure consistency and comfort across all customer touchpoints.
“With this recognition, we are even more inspired to keep improving and keep raising the bar,” Iza said. “Our goal remains simple: to deliver an in-flight experience that reflects reliability, professionalism, and true Nigerian hospitality.”
