ASABA/Nigeria: Deltans have been called to use the season of the celebration of the Christmas and New Year, to show true love toward one another, as God had shown to mankind, by forgiving those who had offended them.
The call was made by the Executive Assistance to the Governor of Delta State on Religious Matters, Bishop Greatman Nmalagu in his Christmas and New Year Message to Deltans.
He said that there is no greater love, than the love of forgiving one another, because it is in midst of the sins of the world, that God sent his son. And as such man should imbibe the spirit of God’s love and do same to their fellow man, especially in this season of the celebration of the Birth of Jesus Christ.
“Let us demonstrate truelove towards one another by forgiving people who offended us, do good to one another through sharing of good things we are having with people, particularly the people that are in need of some sort of things, like food, clothing and so forth”.
Bishop Nmalagu called for prayers, teaching and preaching the word of God this period as it has the power to transform the lives of people to doing good.
“Above all, let us use the period very well by praying, teaching and preaching the word of God which has the power to transform our lives and give us the virtue to avoid evil for peace making”.
