You Are Unstoppable, Mrs Diden Tell Women

SAPELE/Nigeria: Christian women have been challenged to regard themselves as being “unstoppable’ in the trend of contemporary challenges in the world.

The wife of the Chief host, Mega Praise Church of Christ, Evangelist (Mrs) Mary Diden, who gave the charge at the church 9th Annual Women Convention, while dwelling on the theme: “(The Unstoppable), pointed out that the challenge to women is to place priorities on prayers, praises and preaching God’s word by evangelizing.

The seven days programme which attracted renowned female ministers of God including Evangelist (Mrs) Joy Nathan as guest preacher, witnessed a carnival parade of members of Mega Praise Church from different branches in Delta, Edo and Bayelsa states along major roads in Sapele as part of the celebration.

In her homily, guest preacher, Pastor (Mrs) Joy Nathan pointed out that “Light cannot compete with darkness” and it behooves on women in the household of GOD to always declare light upon darkness in all ramifications of their lives, quoting Genesis book account of God’s order “The heels of the woman shall bruise the head of the serpent”.

Prayers, according to Pastor Nathan, is the greatest weapon of warfare that women can wield to change any situation, giving example of the Biblical prayerful Hannah at Shiloh to end her misery of childlessness.

The guest preacher who in a thunderous deliverance prayer, restored healing to a physically challenged girl, stressed the need for love, kindness, charity and fervency in prayer in conquering all situations in life.

“You should shun evil by keeping good company and avoid satanic words and act of invoking swearing words, pointing out that “evil communication corrupts good manners”.

Be wary of partaking in immoral, indecent and unclean dressings, reiterating that Bible principle “Cleanliness is next to Godliness”.

Earlier in her address, Evangelist Mary Diden stressed on the convention topic, titled ‘Unstoppable” as she explained that charity and evangelism are the hallmarks of the unstoppable woman in the home and in public.

While enumerating the challenges and achievements of the church, especially the building of branches across the state, she poured encomiums on her husband and the church leader, Evangelist Michael Ejele Diden for his unrelenting efforts in promoting Lord’s work.

“There is remarkable improvement in our church branches that are being transformed from wooden structures (Kpako building) to block buildings, as the one week programme featured, drama presentations, Match pass, free Medical Treatment to persons with various ailments, sword drill, presentation of gift items to the less privileged persons, traditional dances of the Niger Delta area, testimonies among others.
