Youths Admonished To Be Hard Working

OGWASHI-UKU/Nigeria: The Onihe of Ogwashi-Uku Kingdom, Chief Ezekiel Iloba, has called on youths to imbibe the culture of hard work to enable them be better leaders of tomorrow.

Chief Iloba made the call when the newly elected youth leaders headed by Comrade Stanley Chiedu, paid him a courtesy visit at Ogwashi-Uku.

He asserted that youths were the strength of every nation, and that they should be engaged in profitable ventures that would enable them contribute in community and nation building.

Iloba admonished youths to respect elders, live in the fear of God and shun acts capable of putting them in trouble.

He lauded Obi of Ogwashi-Uku, Ifechukwude Okonjo for his quality leadership, adding that his reign would bring transformation to the kingdom.

The Onihe called on the people of Ogwashi-Uku, home and abroad to give the needed support to the Obi, adding that such would enable more development in the area, saying that there could not be development in any society where no peace was.

While describing Ogwashi-Uku people as peace-loving, he urged them to continue to live in peace and be their brothers’ keeper.

He called on the people of Agidiehe Quarter to embrace peace among themselves and equally support him to succeed, saying that the Onihe title was for the good of all.
