ASABA/Nigeria: The Executive Secretary Delta State Technical and Vocational Education Board Comrade Mike Akpobire has called on youths in the State to embrace the golden opportunity given by this administration to acquire of skills.
Comrade Akpobire gave the Charge during the Exhibition/graduation of 200 trainees in Asaba Vocational Centres.
He enjoined the Graduands to put to use the skills acquired during the training by ensuring that there is proper documentation and collation of data to enable the Board get in contact with them during the issuance of starter packs.
Comrade Akpobire commended the Governor of Delta State Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa for the massive infrastructural development undertaken at the Centre thereby fulfilling his promise made during his campaign in the area of wealth creation for Deltans.
Speaking, the administrator of the Centre Mrs Peace Okonye acknowledged the good work being done in the State by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa especially the Technical Colleges and Vocational Centres and appealed for the revamping of other areas in the training centres.
