The Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Security Matters, Chief Casidy Iloba has advised the youths in the state to key into the various agricultural programmes of the state government to enable them become self reliant.
Chief Iloba gave this admonishion during an interview with our Correspondent shortly after a rally organised by the members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Oshimili South LGA, in honour of the state executive members of the party, who were on a familiarisation tour of the local government area.
He urged the youths to shun crimes, cultism and divisive tendencies but key into SMART Agenda of Senator Ifeanyi Okowa’s led administration in the state, adding that governor Okowa has impacted positively on the lives of Deltans, through his people orientated programmes and policies.
Iloba urged the youths in the state to be law abiding, and advised them to report any suspicious persons within their environment to security agencies.
“I want to use this medium to call on community and opinion leaders as well as others well meaning individuals in the state to collaborate with security agencies in the fight against criminal elements. They should give useful information to security agencies on the activities of criminals in their area.”
He stated that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is the only party in the state and call on Deltans to continue to support Governor Ifeanyi Okowa to ensure the sustainability of his people oriented programmes for the state.
