Delta State Sports Festival to Close By 12 Noon On Friday
Asaba: The closing ceremony of the 6th Delta State Sports Festival which was earlier scheduled for 2.00pm on Friday, May 12, 2017, has been rescheduled for 12 noon same day at the state Polytechnic, Ozoro, stadium. 
The ceremony, which will be presided over by the state Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, is expected to attract dignitaries from within and outside the state including the Minister for Sports, Barr. Solomon Dalung, and a host of other top officials from the Federal Ministry of Sports and the National Sports Commission.
Events lined up for the ceremony includes a football match, finals of 4 by 100 and 4 by 400 metres relays (men and women), cultural dance, calisthenic displays, presentation ceremonies and match past by the participants.
