The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared the result of the gubernatorial election of Delta state, the result however indicates that People’s Democratic Party has an upper hand as the outcome of the election favoured her, in all the 25 local government that made up Delta state, several political parties registered for the election but three political parties out of the rest created impact on the lives of Deltans and the change for good governance, the Labour Party of Great Ogboru, the APC of Otega Emerhor and the PDP of Senator Dr.Ifeanyi Okowa.
Hon. Funkekeme Solomon, Delta State Commissioner for works and the Director of communication in Okowa Campaign Organization noted that so far so good it is clear that democracy is getting matured and the process is coming to international standard, there is no way one party could win every vote casted in a locations and if a system is predicable then something is wrong, politicians should shun ethnic politics, whoever wants to rule the state should avoid ethnicity rule, and face the state as a Deltan, they should also be parochial unlike before.
However the results at the time of filling this report indicates that Aniocha North local government area has not brought their results:
