The emergence of Dr.Ifeanyi Okowa as the governor elect in delta state has attracted all the political parties across the state to concede for his victory, the inter-party advisory council disclosed this to newsmen recently to show profound gratitude to the governor-elect who won drastically in most local government across the state.
According to the advisory council, the members of the political parties who participated in the governorship and house of assembly elections in delta state for the April 11 2015 elections, noted that having received reports from all their party agents at the collation centres in all the polling booths and collation centre from all the local government areas, that they are conscious of the voting trend by Deltans declared that results of the election have been collated from their agents of various political parties and have conceded victory to the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party as the duly elected governorship candidate.
However, the advisory council congratulated Dr.Okowa on his victory at this election and wish him the best in his avowed mission to provide prosperity for all Deltans, adding that they stated unequivocally that their field agents reported that the election were free and fair. And they call on all governorship candidates in delta elections to be patriotic, consider the state and support the governor-elect so that their reasons for contesting which is for the progress of the state can be achieved, again they congratulated Dr.Ifeanyi Okowa on his victory and pledges support for his administration.
