Hon. Kenny Okolugbo and Hon. C.O. Ominimini and the first winner
As part of his continuous empowerment of the youths of Ndokwa Nation, the commissioner representing the Ndokwa nation at the DESOPADEC board, Sir Kenny Okolugbo had giving out 2 tricycle to two youths from Ukwuani LGA. The ceremony was done at the AP filling station at Amai Junction, Obiaruku on the 5th of December, 2013.
The ceremony which was performed in the presence of pressmen was done by balloting. It was co-supervised by the commissioner representing the Urhobo Nation at the DESOPADEC Board, Hon C.O Ominimini. Hon Ominimini tasked the winners to use the tricycle to uplift their life and that of their family members. He reminded the people that the exercise that saw the emergence of the two winners is part of the transformation agenda of the Uduaghan government under the PDP.

The winners who were over joyed thanked the commissioner and DESOPADEC for giving them the opportunity to earn a living. According to the commissioner more of such exercises will be carried out to empower the youths of the Ndokwa Nation. The balloting which was done in two phase of 30 persons each, was observed to be transparent. Mr Okolugbo Monday from Ezionu won in the first ballot and Mr Izah Henry won the second ballot.
