The final contestants of the 2013 beauty pageant, tilted, Nwa Ada Ukwuani has started their one week retreat in Obiaruku with a visit to the Ukwuani Local Government Council. The Council Chairmen, who was represented by the Vice Chairman, Mr Uti, congratulated the contestants, and encouraged them to put in their best during and at the end of the event to promote the culture and tradition of the Ukwuani people. He spoke exclusively on the courage of the Initiator, Miss Valeen Oseh for her initiative to promote and expose the beautiful tradition of the Ukwuani people by organising the pageant.
Speaking earlier, the initiator, Miss Oseh, says that the contestants are from the three LGA of Ndokwa Nation. She extolled the rich Ukwuani culture as our civilization, identity, our own God-given possession and heritage. And in her word, “without it we are lost”.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Council had through his Vice agreed to assist the project to succeed, and wish the team of organisers and participants a happy retreat.
