Delta PDP Congratulates Alhaji Atiku Abubakar on His Well Deserved Victory as the 2019 Presidential Flag Bearer of the Party
ASABA/Nigeria: The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Delta State Chapter, had congratulated the winner of the party’s presidential primary held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, weekend.
In a press release, signed by the Publicity Secretary, made available to Ndokwa Reporters, Dr. Ifeanyi Michael Osuoza, said the victory coming in a keen contested primary, is not only definitive demonstration of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s pedigree as a seasoned administrator, and an excellent technocrat, but a confirmation of his credentials.
“The victory, coming as it did in a keenly contested primary election against worthy and distinguished fellow party contenders, is not only a definitive demonstration of your outstanding pedigree as a seasoned administrator and an excellent technocrat, but indeed a confirmation of your sterling credentials as a democrat par-excellence.”
The statement that, it was a well deserved victory he richly deserved, in a cerrer that had spanned over four decades, as the party has no doubt that his emergence will as the presidential flag bearer, was the right choice, at the right time.
“We have no doubts whatsoever that your emergence as our party’s presidential flag bearer is indeed the right choice at the right time as it signals not only the firm commitment of our journey to reclaim our pride of place in the national political space but as a matter of fact, the actualization of your political trajectory to achieve the number one position in the country and attainment of the ultimate prize, having meritoriously served our country as the Vice President of Nigeria for eight years with our great party.”
The state chapter of the party also congratulated the state Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa for what it called a superlative organisation of excellent, hitch-free and seamless convention, as they never had any doubt that he will do well.
“We also congratulate His Excellency, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa (Ekwueme), the Executive Governor of Delta State and the undisputed leader of our party in the State, for the superlative organization of an excellent, hitch-free and seamless convention, already adjudged as the freest, fairest, most credible and transparent election in the political calendar space of our country since 1999.”
