DSS Shoe Shiner: Babangida, OBJ Calls Interior Ministers’ Behaviour, Sad and Eyesore

Former Presidents Ibrahim Babangida and Olusegun Obasanjo has called the recent public show of the Minister of Interior, General Abdulrahman Bello Dambazzau (Rtd) as an act of eyesore.
The two former leaders were reacting to the video threading on You Tube uploaded by one Alhassan A. Bala which showed the minister relaxing on a couch with his legs stretched out at an event of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Academy, in Abuja, in December 2015.
The SSS officer appeared from the sides, stooped before the minister, lifted the man’s leg and started the shoe shinning job with a white handkerchief in his hand and a holstered service pistol protruding from his jacket.
For Babangida, “I saw a DSS officer cleaning the shoe of a certain Minister in public & I begin to ask myself if this are the CHANGES of the administration”. He said.
“It’s really sad that this administration has changed the Department Of State Security I created few years ago to Department of Shoe Shiners”.
Former President Obasanjo see the action as an eyesore,
“It’s an eyesore to see how a security officer was turned to a SHOE SHINER by Gen. Dambazau. There’s no justification for such disgusting”
“It’s really dehumanizing for a Minister to have a security officer clean his shoe in public. This is not the CHANGE Nigerians voted for”. He concluded.
