ASABA/Nigeria: The Delta State Government has called on qualified students of Delta origin to take advantage of the ongoing admission process into Nigerian Air Force Military, Comprehensive, and Secondary Schools across the country for the 2026/2027 academic session.
In a statement issued on Thursday, the Director-General of the Delta State Bureau for Orientation and Communications, Dr. Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, disclosed that the Nigerian Air Force has commenced online applications for admission into Junior Secondary School (JSS 1) in the Air Force Military School (AFMS) and the Air Force Girls’ Military School (AFGMS), both located in Jos, as well as Air Force Comprehensive and Air Force Secondary Schools nationwide.
Oghenesivbe explained that the registration portal is currently open, noting that applications for the Air Force Military School and Air Force Girls’ Military School will close on April 4, 2026, while those for Air Force Comprehensive and Secondary Schools will close on April 25, 2026.
He urged prospective candidates and their parents to complete the registration process ahead of the deadlines through the Nigerian Air Force Examination Centre portal.
According to him, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has encouraged parents and guardians to ensure that qualified students seize the opportunity, stressing that admission into Nigerian Air Force schools aligns with his administration’s commitment to advancing quality education under the MORE Agenda.
Oghenesivbe noted that the Air Force schools offer a disciplined academic environment designed to promote excellence, leadership, and a strong sense of national service.
He therefore advised applicants to submit their forms promptly through the official portal, while wishing all prospective candidates success in the forthcoming entrance examination.
