ASABA/Nigeria: Delta State Ministry of Youth Development, in line with the Stronger Delta Agenda of the state government, will commence a two-day training for business owners, tagged Community Business School Xtra (CBSX) across the 25 local government areas in the state.
The Commissioner for Youth Development, Comrade Ifeanyi Egwunyenga, stated this in a meeting with management staff of the ministry.
He stated the CBSX is for youths who own business in the state, and interested to grow their businesses to compete favourably with their peers and contemporaries in the business and entrepreneurial sphere.
According to him, youths between the ages of 18-35 years are eligible to apply for any business skill.
He further stated that the two-day capacity building programme is free and open to Deltans and non Deltans alike.
The commissioner explained the opportunity will create an avenue for beneficiaries to meet with business and life coaches who will guide them through hand-holding, mentoring and networking sessions, access to information, principles of accounting and book-keeping.
He urged interested youths to pick up their forms from the Office of Secretary to the Local Government closest to them from Monday 25th to Friday 29th April, 2022 and also visit the ministry’s social media pages.
