ASABA/Nigeria: Hon. Charles Emetulu, the lawmaker representing Ndokwa West State Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, has congratulated the Speaker of the House, Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, on his emergence as Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures in Nigeria, describing him as a pan-Nigerian leader and an accomplished legislator.
Hon. Emetulu, in a congratulatory message issued on his behalf by Festus Nwaomucha of Charles Emetulu Media, lauded the Speaker’s unanimous and unopposed emergence, noting that it reflected his widely acknowledged pedigree and national acceptance among his peers.
He described Rt. Hon. Guwor as an illustrious son of Delta State whose leadership qualities, experience and commitment to legislative excellence have earned him respect beyond the state, culminating in his elevation to the leadership of speakers across the country.
“I congratulate my boss and the presiding Speaker of the 8th Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, on his emergence as Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures in Nigeria,” Emetulu stated.
The Ndokwa West lawmaker said the Speaker’s unopposed election was a testament to his ebullience, indefatigable spirit and inclusive leadership style, which he said have endeared him to colleagues nationwide.
Hon. Emetulu further described Rt. Hon. Guwor as charismatic, humble and a leader who consistently leads from the front, praying for divine guidance and wisdom as he assumes what he termed the role of “Speaker of Speakers” in Nigeria.
According to him, the emergence of the Delta Speaker to such a strategic national position is not only an honour to the Delta State House of Assembly but also a significant boost to the state’s legislative standing in the country.
