ASABA/Nigeria: Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria and Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has congratulated former Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon (Chief) Ndudi Elumelu, on his 61st birthday anniversary celebrated on February 23, 2026, commending his enduring contributions to public service and national development.
In a statement released to journalists in Abuja by his Chief Press Secretary, Nkem Nwaeke, Guwor praised the former federal lawmaker for what he described as an inspiring life of achievement and dedication, noting that his record in legislative service continues to stand as a reference point for excellence in governance.
The Speaker acknowledged Elumelu’s commitment to legislative diligence, democratic ideals and nation-building, emphasizing that his experience, maturity and statesmanship remain invaluable assets to Nigeria’s democratic evolution. He added that the former representative of Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency distinguished himself through principled leadership and a passion for people-centred policies.
“His sterling leadership and eloquence during his tenure as Minority Leader contributed significantly to the advancement of Nigeria’s legislative agenda. He possesses a unique passion for good governance and policies that uplift the people,” Guwor stated.
