Oborevwori Hails Ndudi Elumelu at 61, Praises Legislative Legacy and Democratic Commitment

ASABA/Nigeria: Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State has extended warm congratulations to former Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, on the occasion of his 61st birthday anniversary marked on February 23, describing him as a distinguished parliamentarian whose public service record reflects diligence, patriotism and purposeful leadership.

In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the governor commended the former federal lawmaker for what he called a remarkable legislative career defined by robust debate, principled advocacy and steadfast defence of democratic ideals, noting that his tenure in the National Assembly earned him widespread respect across political divides.

Oborevwori further applauded Elumelu’s loyalty and contributions to the growth of the All Progressives Congress, portraying him as a bridge-builder who played a significant role in strengthening party cohesion and democratic institutions in the country.

The governor also highlighted the developmental impact of Elumelu’s representation of the Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, stating that his time in office delivered visible infrastructure, empowerment programmes and socio-economic initiatives that improved the lives of constituents.

He stressed that the former Minority Leader’s wealth of experience, maturity and enduring commitment to public service remain valuable assets to both Delta State and Nigeria, adding that his contributions to governance and national discourse continue to inspire younger leaders.
