The renovated Classroom Block
The Ndokwa Association in America has commissioned a block of 
classroom renovated at Obetim-Unor and a bus stop at Obikwele by the association. Speaking at the occasion, the National President of the body, Bar Almona Ani Oluku, said that the body decided to take up the projects to alleviate the sufferings of the people, especially the children who could not learn under the condition the school was left after the last flood disaster
According to the Bar Almona, the projects were done with direct labour, and its costs were below N2m.
Speaking further, he said that before now, the body had been engaged in annual scholarship scheme, but after the flooding, the pictures that they saw of the flooding was painful, and they decided to take up a physical project in ameliorating the pains of the people. 
Bar Oluku, also spoke about the associations other activities, especially the annual Scholarship Award giving to Ndokwa sons and daughters. In an interview he confirmed that about 50 persons had received the associations’ scholarships since inception, and before he became the National President, the association had carried out borehole projects, but the classroom renovation at Obetim-Unor and Obikwele bus stop is the biggest project organized by the body.
Also speaking one of the patrons, Chief Young R. Abamba, a Nigerian-American in the same vain said that the Ndokwa sons and daughters always feel the need to see to the development of the land, he therefore called for the maintenance of all projects built by either the government or individual groups.
Chief Mike Odinaka Onah who was the Chairman of the occasion, while commissioning the projects, praised the body for their continuous help to Ndokwa land.
The occasion was attended by the leader of the communities, teachers and pupils of Obetim-Uno Primary School.
