ASABA/Nigeria: Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has extended warm felicitations to prominent Niger Delta leader, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, on the occasion of his 55th birth anniversary, describing him as a pivotal figure in the region’s peace and development trajectory.
In a goodwill message issued on Sunday by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the Governor commended Tompolo’s enduring contributions to regional security, national economic stability and community development, noting that his interventions continue to yield measurable impact across the Niger Delta and beyond.
Oborevwori specifically highlighted Tompolo’s leadership as Chairman of Tantita Security Services Limited, stating that his efforts have significantly strengthened the fight against crude oil theft, increased oil production and boosted the nation’s revenue profile.
The Governor also acknowledged the celebrant’s support to the Delta State Security Trust Fund, describing it as a clear demonstration of his commitment to protecting lives and property within the state.
He noted that both the Federal Government and states within the Niger Delta continue to recognise and appreciate Tompolo’s dedication to sustaining peace and stability in the region.
Describing him as a proud son of the Niger Delta, Oborevwori said Tompolo has consistently worked with relevant stakeholders to promote development and maintain harmony across communities.
The Governor, on behalf of the government and people of Delta State, extended his best wishes to the celebrant, praying for continued good health, wisdom and strength.
