EFFURUN/Nigeria: Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Community Development, Mr. Patrick Ighomrore, has lauded Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for what he described as three years of exceptional leadership, transformative governance, and unprecedented commitment to grassroots development across the state.
In a statement issued on Friday, May 29, 2026, to mark the governor’s third anniversary in office, Ighomrore said the Oborevwori administration has demonstrated a clear vision for sustainable development through the effective implementation of the MORE Agenda. He noted that the governor’s people-oriented policies have continued to translate into visible improvements in infrastructure, healthcare, education, economic empowerment, and social welfare.
According to him, communities across Delta State have become major beneficiaries of government interventions under the present administration, a development he attributed to Governor Oborevwori’s unwavering determination to bring governance closer to the people. He added that the governor has consistently shown genuine concern for the welfare of ordinary Deltans through responsive leadership and strategic investments in critical sectors.
Ighomrore further commended the governor for promoting peace, unity, and inclusiveness in governance, stressing that his open-door policy and regular engagement with stakeholders have strengthened public confidence in government and enhanced citizen participation in the development process.
He said the administration’s achievements over the past three years have positioned Delta State as a model of progressive governance in Nigeria.
