ASABA/Nigeria: The Delta Online Publishers Forum (DOPF) has applauded the appointment of Professor Presly Ogheneruke Obukoadata as Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academics) of Southern Delta University, Ozoro, describing his emergence as a major boost to academic excellence and institutional growth.
The commendation was conveyed in a statement signed by the Forum’s Publicity Secretary, Amb. Ehvwubare Oghenekparobo, ANIPR, FIMC, who hailed Obukoadata as a distinguished intellectual and seasoned academic with a track record of impactful contributions to education and media development.
The Forum expressed confidence that the professor’s vast experience and proven capacity would significantly strengthen teaching, research and academic administration at the institution, noting that his appointment comes at a critical time in the university’s growth trajectory.
Recalling his engagement with members of the Forum, DOPF highlighted Prof. Obukoadata’s participation at its 2025 Annual Convention, where he delivered a thought-provoking lecture on media entrepreneurship, equipping online publishers with practical tools for navigating the evolving digital media landscape.

The Forum also commended the management of Southern Delta University for prioritising merit in its appointment process, expressing optimism that the institution would witness remarkable academic advancement under his leadership.
