2015 Democracy Day in Asaba Capital city of Delta state was graced by all and sundry to witness the transformation team of the state government which Senator Ifeanyi Okowa 
emerged victoriously through the polls were the people made their will to choose him as the executive governor of the state, finally he was sworn into office by the new chief judge of the state, Justice Umukoro who perform the ceremony in the presence of millions of Deltans that graced the occasion, a lot of goodwill was said about Okowa because he is on ground and he knows the pain of his people and he will perform optimally than the out-gone administration, Delta state will have a new look soon, and they should be patient.
Reacting on the ceremony, Alhaji Barr.Isah Clerk expressed gratitude to Okowa and adviced Deltans to be patient because Okowa will not enmass wealth, should not encourage corruption and should be upright in appointing people that will work with him, he thanked God for a successful inauguration and am sure there will be a landmark distinction between Okowas administration and the past administration. He said.
Chief Okonbu Larry noted that when God chose someone we should not despise the person, because its only him that chooses good leader, Okowa is a good one, he will not fail, like as he promised he would ensure that he bring prosperity for all Deltans, the dew that fall in the morning is showers of blessing for the state.
In like manner the state co-ordinator for Agro allied farmers praised God for letting Okowa win the election and assume office, she said that farmers are happy because Okowa will not despise them for they know he would carry them along. Cheif Okocha A.C. said he is a proud Deltan, and that Okowa’s inauguration is to fulfill the victory he had in the last poll that made him number one in the state, adding that democracy have come to stay and the Aniomas should support this administration so that Okowa can perform, he said that the out-going government tried its best.
