ASABA/Nigeria: The Honourable Commissioner for Special Duties (Government House), Dr. Ifeanyi Michael Osuoza, has congratulated Chief Solomon Arenyeka on his election as the new State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, describing his emergence as a strong vote of confidence in his leadership and political experience.

In a congratulatory message, Dr. Osuoza said Arenyeka’s consensus election reflects the trust reposed in him by party stakeholders and members across the state.

“This resounding consensus is a clear vote of confidence in your leadership capacity, political experience and unwavering commitment to the growth and unity of our great party,” Osuoza stated.

He also extended congratulations to Elder Moses Iduh, elected Deputy Chairman, and Chief Efe Uko, who emerged as State Secretary, noting that their emergence alongside other party leaders underscores the cohesion and shared vision within the APC in Delta State.

The commissioner further commended other members of the newly constituted State Working Committee, including Chief Paulinus Akpeki as Delta Central Chairman, Chief Emmanuel Amgbaduba as Delta South Chairman, Engr. Daniel Ossai as Delta North Chairman, Elder Emmanuel Egbabor as State Organising Secretary, Barr. Valentine Onojeghuo as State Publicity Secretary, Mrs. Ifeyinwa Sobotie as State Woman Leader and Christopher Agali as State Youth Leader, as well as all other duly elected executives.

According to him, the consensus process that produced the new leadership reflects maturity, unity and strategic foresight within the party — qualities he described as critical as the APC prepares for the 2027 general elections.

Osuoza charged the new executive to consolidate party structures, deepen grassroots mobilisation, strengthen internal harmony and articulate a compelling, people-oriented agenda capable of delivering overwhelming electoral victories in 2027.

“The task ahead is clear: consolidate the party structure, deepen grassroots mobilization, strengthen internal harmony and present a compelling, people-focused agenda that will secure overwhelming victories in all elections come 2027,” he said.

Describing the moment as one requiring discipline and strategic coordination, the commissioner noted that expectations are high among party faithful and the people of Delta State.

“This is a moment for focus, discipline and strategic coordination. The people of Delta State are watching, and history beckons,” he added.

Osuoza expressed optimism that the new leadership would steer the party to greater heights, praying that their tenure would be marked by unity, progress and resounding electoral success.

He concluded with the party’s rallying call, declaring: “APC! Renewed Hope for MORE Agenda.”
