Comrade Amukali explained that the group was formed in 2010 with the members spread across the various towns and villages of the Local Government Area.
He said that the aims and objectives of the group included complimenting the efforts of security agents such as the police, Joint Task Force (J.T.F) Local vigilante and the State Security Service (SSS). In other words, Comrade Amukali listed their achievements so far to include their protection of the government and oil companies’ facilities and installations such as the oil wells and pipelines rights of way. “We have also contributed in tracking down criminals in our various communities and domains, though we operate with caution considering the fact that we are yet to be authorized by your office” he pointed out.
