His professional career cut across the private and public sectors. He worked with Bentworth Finance in Lagos, Nigerian Bottling Company, popularly associated with Coca-Cola, and SIO Industries in Asaba before joining Delta State University.

At the university, he served as Head of the Department of Business Administration and Marketing, a position in which he was remembered by his associates for his commitment to academic and administrative responsibilities.

Beyond his professional career, Ozegbe maintained a strong connection with his community.

He was involved in activities aimed at promoting the welfare and development of Utagba-Uno and the broader Ndokwa community, and was regarded as a dependable contributor to community causes.

His influence also extended to his personal relationships. He was remembered as a family man, husband, father and friend whose relationships were built around loyalty, generosity and trust.
