Ogbuefi (Mrs) Ndidi Rose Abanum
Ogbuefi (Mrs) Ndidi Rose Abanum a successful business manager and philantropist was born on the 13th day of February 1964 to the family of Chief John Ujomor and Mrs Margaret Ujomor in Amai Kingdom, Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State.
Ogbuefi (Mrs) Ndidi Rose Abanum attended Igwete Primary School, Amai from 1971 to 1977 where she obtained her First School Leaving Certificate. She proceeded to Abbi Grammar school, Abbi in 1978 and finished her Secondary education at Amai Mixed Secondary Commercial School, Amai in 1983. She sat and obtained her West African School Certificate (WASC) at Amai Mixed Secondary Commercial School, Amai in 1983. She also had a Certificate in secretariat Study from school of Management/Administration, Lagos, in 1987. In 1989, she was admitted to be trained as a Nurse in Ojota, Lagos State where she came out in flying colour in 1991 as a Certified Nurse.
Madam as she is fondly called by friends and admirers, is married to Mr. Andrew J. Abanum her childhood sweetheart from Ezionum in Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State. Mr. Andrew Abanum is a Consummate Engineering contractor and a business mogul of repute. Their marriage is blessed with two lovely kids – a son; Japheth Ogelue Abanum and a daughter; Anita Odozi Abanum.
Ogbuefi (Mrs.) Ndidi Rose Abanum came from a humble background and rose to become an eminent Philanthropist, grassroots Political stalwart, a peace ambassador and a foremost nationalist to the core. Madam Ndidi Rose Abanum has been in the struggle for better living condition for the masses. She has a special place in her heart for children, women and the youths, hence, she has defiantly supported courses that will give the people a meaningful life and better the lots of the general masses.
As a trained Nurse, she worked for more than a decade and garnered immense experience in the field. Consequently, she worked with health care centres and Nimbus Medical centre all in Lagos, Lagos State.
Madam Ndidi Rose Abanum is a woman of high moral standard, and a perfect example of equanimity. She is an ardent supporter of the rule of law, fundamental human rights, respect for the sanctity and dignity of the human person. She is an astute administrator, management expert with a track record of success in her endeavours. She is a well-known philanthropist who is determined to give the masses a better living condition especially the rural dwellers, through her foundation–Better Life for Rural Women Dwellers. She supports children, women, and youths in the rural areas and the less privileged in our society.
Ogbuefi (Mrs.) Ndidi Rose Abanum is a lover of sports generally. She has been supporting sports development especially in the rural areas of Delta state. She equally has a special talent for Track and Field’s events and Football.
