
ASABA/Nigeria: The Chief Press Secretary to the Delta State Governor, Sir Festus Ahon, has commended the Rector of Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara, Prof. Emmanuel Ufuophu-Biri, for his contributions to academic development and institutional growth as he marks his birth anniversary.
Ahon, in a congratulatory message, described Ufuophu-Biri as a distinguished academic and administrator whose commitment to education, human capital development and effective leadership had continued to make an impact at the Polytechnic.
He said the Rector had demonstrated dedication to the advancement of the institution, adding that his experience and administrative competence had contributed to the stability and development of the Polytechnic.
Ahon noted that Ufuophu-Biri’s birthday offered an opportunity to acknowledge his contributions to the education sector and celebrate the milestones recorded under his leadership.
The Governor’s aide expressed confidence that the Rector would continue to bring his wealth of knowledge and experience to bear in advancing the Polytechnic and contributing to the broader development of education in Delta State.
He also commended Ufuophu-Biri’s commitment to strengthening the institution, saying that effective leadership in tertiary institutions remained important to developing the skills and knowledge required for the state’s future.
Ahon wished the Rector many more years of good health, wisdom and fulfilment, while praying that God would grant him continued strength and greater accomplishments in his service to education and the state.
