EFFURUN/Nigeria: Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Community Development, Dr. Patrick Ighomrore, has congratulated former Governor of Delta State and Senatorial candidate for Delta North, Ifeanyi Okowa, Senator representing Delta Central, Ede Dafinone, and former Chairman of Uvwie Local Government Area, Ramson Onoyake, over their victories in the just concluded All Progressives Congress (APC) primary elections.
Dr. Ighomrore, in a congratulatory message made available to newsmen, described their emergence as candidates for their respective positions as a reflection of the confidence, trust and overwhelming support they enjoy among party faithful and delegates across their constituencies.
He specifically congratulated Senator Ifeanyi Okowa on his victory in the Delta North Senatorial primary, noting that his vast experience in governance, leadership capacity and enduring political influence remain invaluable assets that would further strengthen representation and development within the district and Delta State at large.
The Governor’s aide also commended Senator Ede Dafinone for securing the APC ticket for Delta Central Senatorial District, describing him as a focused legislator whose commitment to quality representation, people-oriented policies and developmental initiatives has continued to resonate with the people of the district.
Dr. Ighomrore equally extended warm congratulations to former Chairman of Uvwie Local Government Area, Ramson Onoyake, on his emergence as the APC candidate for the Uvwie Federal Constituency seat, expressing confidence that his grassroots experience, administrative competence and dedication to public service would position him for greater service to the people.
He urged party members and supporters to remain united and committed to the ideals of the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections, while expressing optimism that the victories recorded by the candidates would further strengthen the party and advance the collective aspirations of the people of Delta State
