PORT HARCOURT/Nigeria: Prominent All Democratic Congress (ADC) chieftain and media strategist, Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has described his daughter, Mrs. Monica Asabe Chidinma Chukwuemeka-Elechi, as an emerging voice in media and civic engagement as she marked her 34th birthday.
In a statement issued on July 11, Eze praised Monica’s professional achievements and humanitarian activities, describing her as a dedicated professional whose work continues to impact communities beyond the media space.
He said Monica has built a career spanning media consulting, digital communications and public advocacy, noting that her contributions have earned her recognition within political and development circles.
According to him, Monica, who was born in Jimeta, Adamawa State, received her early education at ABTI International School before proceeding to OSISATECH, Enugu, and later obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations from Caritas University, Enugu.
Eze noted that she has worked as a blogger, graphic designer and media consultant, and served as Technical Adviser on Media to former Ebonyi State Governor and current Minister of Works, Sen. David Umahi.
He also highlighted her role as founder of DUNAETA, a non-governmental organisation focused on civic education, community development and democratic participation, saying the organisation has continued to champion grassroots empowerment initiatives.
The ADC chieftain further commended his daughter’s commitment to humanitarian service, citing her recent outreach programme for elderly persons across six local government areas in Ebonyi State as an example of her dedication to improving the lives of vulnerable citizens.
Describing Monica as hardworking, resilient and service-driven, Eze expressed optimism that she would continue to make meaningful contributions to national development through media, advocacy and community service.
He prayed for God’s continued guidance, protection and greater accomplishments as she begins another year.
