CP Aina Adesola Steps Up Security Synergy, Visits Immigration, NDLEA, FRSC in Delta

ASABA/Nigeria: The Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, CP Aina Adesola, has intensified efforts to strengthen coordinated crime-fighting strategies across the state, as he continued his familiarisation visits to key sister security agencies in Delta State.

The development was disclosed in a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, on behalf of the Delta State Police Command, noting that the visits form part of sustained measures to deepen inter-agency cooperation and enhance joint security operations.

According to the statement, CP Aina Adesola, accompanied by members of the Command’s Management Team, on Thursday, February 5, 2026, paid courtesy visits to the Nigeria Immigration Service, where he was received by the Controller of Immigration, GC Ozodinobi, PSC; the Delta State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, where the team was received by the State Commander, CN Halilu Hamidu, PhD; and the Federal Road Safety Corps, RS 5.2 Delta Sector Command, led by Sector Commander Joyce Alexander.

During the engagements, the Commissioner of Police stressed the need for sustained collaboration, intelligence sharing, and operational synergy among security agencies, noting that effective policing and crime prevention require a unified approach and coordinated action across all security formations in the state.

CP Aina Adesola reaffirmed the commitment of the Delta State Police Command to maintaining strong working relationships with sister agencies in tackling crime, drug-related offences, migration-linked security threats, and road traffic management challenges, in line with broader national security objectives.

In their separate remarks, the heads of the respective agencies commended the Commissioner of Police for the familiarisation visits and assured him of their readiness to sustain cooperation and support with the Nigeria Police Force in the collective task of safeguarding lives and property across Delta State.

The statement added that the Delta State Police Command, under the leadership of CP Aina Adesola, remains resolute in pursuing partnership-driven policing, robust inter-agency coordination, and proactive security measures to ensure peace and safety in the state.
