ABUJA/Nigeria: Senator Ede Dafinone has paid a heartfelt tribute to the late Mr. Sunny Kotor, Senior Special Assistant on Protocol to the Delta State Government, describing him as a dedicated and dependable officer whose sudden death has left a painful void in the state’s public service.
In a condolence message he personally signed on March 23, 2026, Dafinone expressed deep sadness over Kotor’s passing on Friday, March 20, noting that the news came as a profound shock to him and many others who had closely followed the late aide’s contributions to government operations.
“I received with deep sadness the news of the sudden passing of Mr. Sunny Kotor… His demise is a painful loss, not only to the government but to all who had the privilege of knowing and working with him,” the senator stated.
Dafinone extolled Kotor’s professional excellence, describing him as a consummate public servant whose discipline, attention to duty and commitment to service distinguished him in the sensitive role of protocol management.
