ASABA/Nigeria: Dcn. Efe Rockson has congratulated Dr. Gift Okwuolise and his wife, Blessing Chidinma Okwuolise, both from Ndemili in Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State, following their successful defence of their PhD theses at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO).
The couple defended their theses in the Department of Environmental Management after years of research and academic work, an achievement Rockson described as a reflection of commitment, perseverance and mutual support.
In his congratulatory message, Rockson said the couple’s accomplishment demonstrated what could be achieved when partners encourage and support each other in pursuing their individual and shared goals.
He commended them for sustaining their academic journey despite the demands of research, family responsibilities and other challenges associated with doctoral studies.
The couple, in a statement reflecting on the achievement, said their successful defence was the outcome of years of dedication, sacrifice, perseverance and faith.
They said studying together and encouraging each other through difficult periods helped them remain focused throughout the programme.
