Enebeli Outlines Role as Delta Peace Building Council Member

Pharm Paul  O. Enebeli

A member of the recently constituted Delta State Advisory and Peace Building Council and notable pharmacist, Chief Paul Enebeli, has pledged to bring his rich experience of 40 years of professional service and expertise, both in private and public offices to the new responsibility, to further complement the outstanding attributes of other members of the advisory council.

Pharmacist Enebeli, who made this pledge shortly after the Council was inaugurated by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, also assured that Deltans should look forward to a robust and rewarding contribution, drawn from the more than four decades in which providence has endowed him with the experience of being a leader, philanthropist and mentor of numerous numbers of persons.

Reflecting on the huge responsibility given to the Council by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, he pointed out that the Governor spoke so well in his address to the Council, and urged Deltans, especially the people of Ndokwa land, to expect a vibrant representation which will attract
more dividends of democracy to the people and the area, which he represents.

“Forty years of hard work and upholding the virtues of honesty, as being the best policy, will be my driving principles and shape the focus and direction of my contributions to the Advisory and peace building council,” he said.

Pharm. Enebeli, Enebeli, who is also the National President of the Ndokwa Neku Union, NNU, the umbrella body of all indigenes of Ndokwa ethnic nationality, equally expressed confidence that Governor Okowa was a listening Governor, who would take the advise offered by the elder statesmen and women of the Advisory council seriously, adding
that he was convinced the Delta Governor would practice what he is preaching, otherwise, the essence of assembling an Advisory council made up of eminent Deltans would be lost completely.

The elder statesman noted however that since the membership of the Advisory council was honorary, and coupled with his position as President General of the Ndokwa nation, he and his council members shall advise the governor that even the little money available, under
the present dire financial circumstances, should be used judiciously and that the good of the people should be the uppermost consideration in all his policies.

“We should be able to encourage His Excellency, Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa to do the right thing. Of course, he is wise enough to know that he must deliver good dividends to the people of Delta State,” Enebeli said.
