ASABA/Nigeria: The Delta State Commissioner for Special Duties (Government House), Asaba, Dr. Ifeanyi Michael Osuoza, has paid glowing tribute to Chief Austine Ayemidejor, his former Senate President during their days in the Students’ Union Government at Auchi Polytechnic, as he marks his 65th birthday.
In a congratulatory message, Osuoza described Ayemidejor as a man of integrity whose character has remained consistent over the decades since their days of student leadership.
Recalling their time together during the 1988/1989 academic session at the prestigious Auchi Polytechnic, Osuoza noted that Ayemidejor served as Senate President of the Students’ Union Government while he himself served as Secretary General of the union and Secretary General of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS).
According to him, nearly four decades after their time in student leadership, Ayemidejor has continued to demonstrate the same principles of honesty, dependability and strong moral values that distinguished him during their undergraduate years.
“If you know Chief Austine Ayemidejor, you know that his ‘yes’ carries weight. He does not deal in half measures. When he gives you his word in the daylight, it will not transform into a ‘no’ in the dark hours of the night,” Osuoza said.
He added that Ayemidejor’s decisions are not influenced by convenience or changing circumstances, but rather guided by deeply held values and principles rooted in faith and integrity.
“In a time when consistency of character is increasingly rare, Chief Austine Ayemidejor stands tall as a man whose word remains his bond,” he stated.
Osuoza described the celebrant as a dependable friend, brother and leader whose life continues to inspire those around him.
“On this special day, I celebrate your life, your integrity, and your enduring example. May God continue to bless you with good health, wisdom, and many more years of impact and fulfillment,” he added.
Chief Austine Ayemidejor clocks 65 amid tributes from friends, associates and former colleagues who have continued to acknowledge his contributions to leadership and community development.
