Umutu Police Attack: Ochor Ochor Condemns Attack, Condole With Delta Police Command

UMUTU/Nigeria: The Deputy Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, and member representing Ukwuani State Constituency, Rt. Hon Christopher Ochor Ochor, had condemned the attack on the Umutu Police Station, in Ukwuani Local Government Area of the State, which claimed lives of two policemen, and another dying of heart attack.

The Deputy Speaker, during a visit to the attacked station on Friday, May 28, 2021, said it’s callous and inhuman for anyone to plan and attack those who had been engaged to protect lives and properties of all Nigerians.

“Attack on state institutions such as police stations, and any other such institution established to take care, carryout the duty of protecting the lives and properties of all Nigerians is condemnable, by all meaning Nigerians. Such action is nothing but callous.”

Rt. Hon Ochor, however condole with the State Commissioner of Police, Ari Muhammed Ali, for loss of officers, and death of another who was reported died because of shock.

“I condole with the State Police Command, the Police Commissioner, CP Ari Muhammed Ali for the killing of two officers by the attackers, and the dead of another as a result of shock from the attack.” He said.
